We are currently seeking a Retail Loan Documentation Specialist to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This role is responsible for retail loan documentation, service orientation, process administration, and communication. This role is eligible for hybrid scheduling.

Essential functions of the role:
Retail Loan Documentation
- Review the loan document preparation queue and prioritize daily loan processing
- Prepare loan documents that reflect approved loan terms and collateral positions
- Develop an understanding of current regulations and guidelines to retail loan processes and products
- Identify issues within loan documents and make corrections
- Resolve issues noted on exception reporting
- Coordinate with branch associates to research issues involving lending documentation and collateral perfection prior to loan closing
- Assess and document collateral perfection needs in the system
- Document and process flood insurance and checklist
- Collaborate across departments to seek process improvements and offer recommendations to managers regarding necessary procedure improvements
Service Orientation
- Interact with Emprise associates, customers, other banks, and vendors relative to areas of concern involving loan documentation
- Escalate issues as needed
- Ensure the timely completion, quality, and accuracy of daily work to meet SLA guidelines
- Displays commitment to excellence and looks for ways to improve and promote quality
- Apply feedback to improve performance
- Strive to increase productivity, work quickly, and achieve established goals
Process Administration
- Document standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in processes
- Review current processes for efficiency and effectiveness on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate across departments to seek process improvements
- Update procedures as needed
Communication
- Interact with Emprise associates, customers, other banks, and vendors relative to areas of concern involving documentation support
- Escalate issues as needed
Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with large server based applications and typical desktop software required
- Previous bank experience preferred
Schedule
40 hours per week
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
