Job Skills/Requirements



Have two-way communications in English with all guests in a pleasant manner.

Have a good understanding of and practice all Cracker Barrel guest service behaviors throughout the store to convert guests and achieve sales plan.

Greet and initiate conversation to make a connection with every guest.

Connect guests with unique products and special services in a natural and genuine way.

Be familiar with retail products and inventory levels and effectively communicate that information to guests to close the sale.

Work as a team to ensure all guests' needs are met.

Move about the retail sales floor and stock areas for long periods of time, always prioritizing guests over tasks.

Ability to lift 50 pounds, which allows for moving merchandise around the stockroom.

Lift a maximum of 25 pounds overhead on a daily basis while organizing the stockroom and merchandising the retail sales floor.

Move and climb a 2-step stepladder/stool and a 6-foot stepladder for cleaning, stocking, and guest assistance.

Dust, clean, and straighten retail store stock including glassware. Must be able to lift, bend, and stoop.

Price and stock merchandise according to company standards using pricing equipment.

Answer the telephone in a pleasant manner and ensure the guest's needs are met.

Help deter shoplifters in the retail store.

Be available to work scheduled shifts that meet Cracker Barrel business demands/volume including Saturdays and Sundays.(Scheduled shifts depend on business demands, employee availability, seasonal fluctuations, and employee's overall performance).

Clean windows on a frequent basis using assorted cleaning chemicals, compounds, and products.

Work independently on assigned tasks with the appropriate amount of supervision.

Arrive for shifts properly groomed (link removed) Maintain proper personal hygiene standards every shift.

Check and clean restrooms throughout a shift using assorted cleaning chemicals, compounds, and products. Ensure restrooms meet Cracker Barrel standards.



Work Schedule



Sunday - Thursday: 7AM - 9PM

Friday - Saturday: 7am - 10pm
