As a Rigger/Mechanical at ITAC, you will play a vital role in the construction and installation of complex capital projects. Your responsibilities will include handling machinery and equipment, installing and dismantling heavy structures, and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the project. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of industry professionals who thrive in challenging and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Safely assemble and disassemble heavy machinery and equipment according to project specifications.
  • Operate equipment such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts to move materials and machinery.
  • Rig and position equipment using cables, ropes, pulleys, and other rigging equipment.
  • Inspect machinery and equipment for any defects or malfunctions, and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop rigging plans and determine equipment needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of rigging activities, including equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.

Notes: Job Starts Day Shift 12/16/2023 Night Shift Starts 12/23/2023

  • This position will be shut-down work at the VW Plant in Chattanooga, Tn
  • 3 weeks 12-hour Day Shift.
  • 2 weeks 12-hour Night shift.
  • Working straight through until competition.
  • Will work Christmas and New Years Day.
  • Excellent Pay and Per Diem

Requirements


  • Proven 5-year experience as a Rigger/Mechanical or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects in a safe manner.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
