Role: Senior PLSQL DeveloperLocation: Atlanta, GA Client is currently looking for a Senior level PL/SQL Developer to join our GA program team now! Position will work remotely, but candidates based in Atlanta, GA preferred. Summary: As a Senior PL/SQL Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing the PL/SQL packages to meet health service client program requirements and business objectives. In this role, you will also shepherd and lead a team of PLSQL developers comprised of both onshore and offshore resources. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, deploy and maintain SQL, PLSQL packages for large-scale projects using hybrid agile, iterative SDLC methodologyWrite and execute unit test cases for the PL/SQL stored procedures/packagesDebug, optimize, and performance tune SQL, PLSQL packages for improving performance Work with java developers to enhance the code base of PL/SQL packages to fix production issues and/or build new functionalitySupport Software Quality Assurance team to develop complex test scenariosParticipate in code reviews and ensure the code written complies with Clients standard and best practices and provide improvement feedback to developersUse SVN version management to manage various versions of the procedures and functions of the applicationReview Linux shell scripts and make necessary changes required for the processPerform gap and impact analysis of system software for change requestsAssure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported areaRequired Experience/Skills Required: Bachelors degree with 8 + years of work experience as related to job dutiesDemonstrated experience in PL/SQL, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, creating database tables, views, medium to complex stored procedures, triggers, and functionsExperience in SQL performance tuning using Cost-Based Optimization (CBO), Profiler, Explain-plan and has sufficient knowledge on AWRExperience with Data flow diagrams, Data dictionaries, Database normalization theory techniques, Entity relation modeling, and design techniques. Expertise in Client-Server application developmentWorking knowledge in relational databases and concepts, preferably OracleExperience and knowledge of version control and defect management toolsAbility to handle multiple projects and collaborate with a variety of teamsHighly organized with analytical and reasoning skills to troubleshoot and solve problemsknowledge of logical and physical Data Modeling using normalizing Techniques preferredDomain knowledge of Medicare/healthcare verticals and MMIS experience in Medicaid Provider and Claims module is strongly preferred
