Job Duties:

Roofers will repair, install and work on both commercial and residential roofs above ground level. Load, unload, and reload material and tools used on the job. Remove snow, water, or debris from roofs. Set up scaffolding. Attach roofing paper to roofs, cover roofs or exterior walls of structures with roofing materials, using brushes, knives, punches, hammers, or other tools. Removal, installation and replacement of roof covering, removal of old nails, installment of roof ventilation, plumbing boots on the roof and the replacement of roof decking, as needed. May spray roofs, sidings, and walls with material to bind, seal, insulate, or soundproof. Clean debris from job site; clean work areas, equipment and work vehicles. 14 day(s) on the job training provided.

Special Requirements:

Lift/carry up to 130 pounds. Not afraid of heights. Work extended daily hours and weekends when necessary. After 14 days on the job training, workers will be certified and must maintain that level of craftmanship. Ability to legally drive company vehicles preferred. Ability to communicate in English preferred. Workers will not be afraid of heights.
