For the past 36 years, Dove Vending has been setting the standard for high quality service in the vending, office coffee, office pantry, and micro market realm. We are currently looking for a route driver to join our fast-paced team. Your daily routine will consist of loading your company vehicle each morning and then visiting all the scheduled locations on your route for the day. While at each location, youll restock machines or a market, rotate products, clean our equipment, collect money, take inventory as needed, and then move on to the next. While the entire Dove team is always supporting you, most of your time will be working independently. We take great pride in our customer service, therefore we will train you to be a vending professional.

A major difference between this role and other driver roles is you arent required to sell to customers. We ask each driver to represent the company and interreact with individuals at customer locations in a professional manner. However, you are not responsible for owning the customer relationship or promoting/selling new products. Also, you dont need to pick the products for your route from the warehouse. Our warehouse team will do your picks each day and all you need to do is load.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers on an established route and perform restocking, product rotation, and merchandising
• Service all scheduled customers within a single shift
• Ensure machines and equipment are clean, filled, and operating on each visit
• Collect money from machines and refill bill and coin mechanisms
• Take inventory as needed and record counts using an iPad app
• Update pricing in machines as needed
• Load and unload delivery vehicle at the beginning/end of shift
• Safe operation of your company vehicle in compliance with company policies/procedures and DOT regulations
• Positively and professionally represent the company when visiting each customer location
• Additional responsibilities as necessary

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Drivers license and a clean driving record (CDL license not required)
• Able to pass a background check (criminal)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in a driving/delivery role to businesses or freight delivery
• Ability to lift/carry items weighing up to 45lbs repeatedly
• Fluent in English
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours a day
• Ability to reach, squat, bend, twist, push, and pull
• A teamwork mindset
• Strong attention to detail
• High sense of urgency
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
