Monitor the performance and capacity of the Rubrik infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving any issues to ensure optimal data protection and backup operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement backup and recovery strategies, ensuring compliance with data retention policies and regulatory requirements. Configure and manage data protection policies and schedules, including backup, replication, and archival processes, to meet business needs and recovery objectives. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Rubrik data protection and backup infrastructure, working closely with vendors and internal teams as needed. Conduct regular backups, test data recovery procedures, and perform periodic disaster recovery drills to validate the effectiveness of backup and restore operations. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Rubrik technologies, attending training sessions and acquiring certifications to enhance your expertise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical guidance and support to junior administrators or team members, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration within the IT team. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring the availability of accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Bachelor39;s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience 4-5 years of hands-on experience as a Rubrik Administrator, managing Rubrik data protection and backup infrastructure in a production environment. In-depth knowledge of Rubrik architecture, configuration, and administration, including cluster management, SLA domain creation, storage repositories, and cloud integration. Strong understanding of data protection principles and methodologies, including backup, replication, archival, and recovery procedures. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python to automate tasks and enhance operational efficiency. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V, as well as cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Solid understanding of network protocols, storage technologies, and enterprise backup solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
