IT Concepts is looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant to support our USDA program.

The United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires support in complying with the Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) 54. The goal of this initiative is to implement SAPs SAP Contract, Lease, and Real Estate Management (CLRM) module within USDAs enterprise-wide financial system FMMI. As an SAP FI Consultant, you will be part of a team helping USDA achieve mission-driven success.

Duties

  • Gather requirements, develop / update functional specifications, and develop / update technical design documents to support development activities
  • Configure system and documents configuration according to the project standards
  • Support creation test specification and preparation of test data (prepare testing environment)
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing and facilitate UAT and regression testing and document the results
  • Work in a matrix environment coordinating with outsourced support vendors in an onsite environment
  • Develop reports and ad hoc documentation to meet project requirements
  • Coordinate with Legacy systems to get the data readily available in SAP format,
  • Coordinate with Legacy systems to extract and provide load files for conversion,
  • Schedule and track mock conversion and cutover activities
  • Willing to be on site and travel up to 25% of time

Location: Hybrid work model.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience supporting system sustainment efforts for federal government implementations
  • 6+ years of experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable processes including payments and collection
  • 6-10 years professional experience, 3+ years of SAP product application/implementation experience in FICO and strong accounting background
  • Experience with SAP FI
  • Excellent at identifying and solving problems
  • Must be a U.S Citizen

Preferred

  • Experience supporting federal IT projects
  • Experience supporting Department of Agriculture and/or the Department of Treasury
  • Experience being part of SAP implementations at the federal level
  • Experience with Federal Financial Accounting Standards
