Position: SAP MDG Business Analyst

Client: Ahold Delhaize- GSO

Location: 100% Remote- but must be willing to work EST core hours

Contract Length: 6 months +

Able to use or sponsor visas: Yes but must have excellent communication skills!

Senior Business Analyst/Functional Consultant with:

• Experience in SAP MDG EhP6 & MDG 7.0/8.0 (Preferably 9.0)
• Experience working on MDG implementation on S/4 HANA including integrating internal and external application.
• Experience working on a Global team - will be supporting both the US and EU.
• Expertise in Implementation of SAP MDG Solution for masters like GL, Company code, trading partner, Profit, cost center.
• Experience in Configuration rule-based Workflow.
• Experience in gathering requirements and integrating business process requirements with the technical implementation of SAP Master Data Governance.

Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:

Overview:

ADUSA implemented SAP S/4 HANA and went live 1 year ago. Now that they have started to established business as usual process they are building the team to be able to support SAP internally.

-The consultant will be working on project delivery team. Will be interacting with project team, participate in daily stand up meetings, work closely with business and technical stakeholders depending on the project requirements.

-Currently working in a hybrid Agile environment. Hope to eventually transition to full Agile in the future.

Requirements:

• Experience in SAP MDG EhP6 & MDG 7.0/8.0 (Preferably 9.0)
• Experience working on MDG implementation on S/4 HANA.
• Experience with SAP MDG for integrating internal and external application to S/4 HANA.
• Experience working on a Global team - will be supporting both the US and EU.
• Expertise in Implementation of SAP MDG Solution for masters like GL, Company code, trading partner, Profit, cost center.
• Experience in Configuration rule-based Workflow.
• Experience in gathering requirements and integrating business process requirements with the technical implementation of SAP Master Data Governance.
• Expert knowledge in activation and configuration of the MDG modules & components.
• PLUS: Understanding the ABAP code/ ABAP development experience
• PLUS: Experience in User interface modelling (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements of type Hyperlink or Push button, Data quality, Validation and Derivation rules).

Formal Job Description:

The SAP MDG Functional Consultant will be responsible for Developing the Global Ahold Delhaize IT functional roadmap by partnering with the business (process owners within a business domain (e.g. Supply chain, Merchandizing, Store Operation, Data Analytics, Brand/CSM, Marketing & Support) to deliver simple and efficient to use business processes and systems.

Within the overall GSO Tech IT strategy and guidelines, understand, analyze, translate and guide business requirements into part of (or entire) automated system solutions, coordinate the deployment of the solution and ensure the handover/support in order to ensure that IT solutions: - cover to a maximum all stakeholder requirements and answer maximally to all relevant business requirements - are feasible and realizable (technically, organizationally, economically)- can be realized (or are realized for the solutions delivered by the job itself) on time, within budget and agreed scope, fulfilling all requirements (such as quality, sustainability requirements, etc.) - cover end-to-end solutions (all stages) of the solution life cycle

Key Result Area's / Goals

• Responsible for process design, configuration, assistance with testing, requirements gathering and ultimately setup a fully functional development, test, and production environment to delivery MDG.
• Create an Integration test Plan with for MDG + Data Services Information Steward and S4 backend.
• Gather requirements and ultimately setup a fully functional development, test, and production environment to deliver MDG scope to the client.
• Responsible for making solution recommendations considering scope and client requirements.
• Prepare the functional specifications and ensure delivery of objects as per the timelines.
• Create configuration documents and training documents.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities in complex, multi-vendor computing environments.

To be successful, you will have the below experience:

• Experience in SAP MDG EhP6 & MDG 7.0/8.0 (Preferably 9.0)
• S/4 HANA experience
• Worked on at least 2 MDG projects.
• Expertise in Implementation of SAP MDG Solution for masters like GL, Company code, trading partner, Profit, cost center.
• Experience in Configuration rule-based Workflow.
• Experience in Integrating business process requirements with the technical implementation of SAP Master Data Governance.
• Experience in User interface modelling (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements of type Hyperlink or Push button, Data quality, Validation and Derivation rules).
