Sr. SAP MM Functional Analyst

Onsite- Richardson, TX (Hybrid)

Job Description & Scope:

• The person that fills this position will act as a primary liaison between the IT department and the Manufacturing / Supply Chain staff.
• They will provide direction and technical management for the planning, designing, installation, modification, and operation of heterogeneous, dynamic enterprise systems.
• Provide all support for SAP-related issues to ensure limited work stoppage.
• Be the main point of contact for the training of staff on the use of the SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules within SAP.
• They will be tasked with managing the IT relationship between the Procurement and Supply Chain business teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for providing SAP MM / PP post-deployment hyper-care.
• Your goal will be to work toward complete SAP ERP software stabilization
• A key responsibility for this role will be end-user training and documentation.
• Determine business priorities with regard to requested enhancements and support activities.
• Manage the IT Applications and ensure their alignment with department and corporate strategy.
• Oversee all areas of IT projects carried out within the associated functional business area.
• Understand the capabilities of technology and propose appropriate applications of that technology to solve business problems or exploit business opportunities.
• Interface with internal and external auditors as necessary to maintain full compliance with all policies, procedures, and corporate controls.
• Coach and mentor employees to achieve their maximum potential.

Required Education & Experience:

• Candidates should have 5 years of experience in managing employees.
• Candidates must have 7+ years of professional work experience in the SAP Materials Management & Production Planning functional areas.
• Strong knowledge of the sub-modules within including Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Bills of Material (BOM), and Material Master.
• Candidates should have strong knowledge of the sub-modules within SAP Materials Management (MM) including Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Material Planning.
• Candidates with strong experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain will be considered a plus.
• Candidates with strong experience with SAP Manufacturing Execution ME will be considered a plus.
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Related industry certifications are a plus (e.g., APICS, CPIM, and PMP).

Requires Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to design and implement processes within the SAP application as well as other systems integrating with SAP.
• Ability to plan, scope, and execute major projects in a global ERP environment.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with all levels of personnel within the company, internal and external customers, and/or Suppliers.
• Ability to manage all aspects of day-to-day responsibilities of business analysts and/or project managers.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in the area of software development and support.
• Ability to oversee all aspects of project management and application of industry best practices.
