Role: SAP Product Costing Lead

Duration: Full Time

Location: Work from home but should be able to travel as needed for the project

Job Description:

The Solution Lead will lead all aspects of the Client Engagement for their area of the Solution across a number of CLIENT Clients. This will include developing strong working relationships with the key Client Stakeholders / Decision makers, overseeing the end-to-end design of the functional area in presales pursuits / implementation projects and being seen as the Solution owner and trusted advisor to the Client Business Process Owners and Stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

The Candidate will be the primary CLIENT contact with the key Client Stakeholders and Business Process owners becoming a trusted advisor, managing business expectations and will oversee and drive delivery projects with the ability to ensure the end-to-end solution will deliver the Business requirements but also intervene to resolve issues and ensure the project objects (time, quality, cost) are achieved.

The Candidate will be a key interface between the Client and the CLIENT Delivery team, ensuring expectations are aligned and that the delivery process is on track to deliver on the Client expectations and the agreed scope. Candidate will ensure that there is proactive scope management throughout the delivery process and that the expectations of both Client and Delivery team are closely aligned.

The Candidate will take a lead role in the solution design process ensuring the end-to-end solution is deliverable and will meet the agreed requirements and any Fit to Standard design assumption. Candidate will lead discussions on Best Practice processes and the investigation into non-standard areas of the Client's requirements, arbitrating between the Client and delivery teams to ensure delivery of a pragmatic solution.

Candidate will ensure any potential design/performance issues have been identified and addressed in the delivered solution and that dependencies on the Client and/or 3rd Parties are identified and managed to ensure a working end to end solution.

The Candidate will lead Presales pursuits, preparing and delivering effective presentations to gain the Client the confidence that CLIENT has the knowledge and capability to deliver their requirements and business benefits.

Skills and Knowledge:

Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the domain and industry / technology trends in the area, providing thought leadership and the ability to communicate effectively best practices and CLIENT's ability to deliver the required solution.

Have a detailed, hands-on experience of the SAP S/4HANA Finance value chain with key focus in Controlling, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis, with the knowledge and capability to gain acceptance for the standard SAP processes as well as providing innovative solutions where the Client has unique differentiating business requirements.

Have experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations and delivering SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO Solution from the design concept to Go-Live and post Go-live support with focus on Product Costing, Material Ledger, Controlling and Profitability Analysis.

Well-developed SAP and Business consulting skills, both being able to understand the Clients business challenges and pain points and the ability to problem solve, develop innovative solutions, and gain Client acceptance for proposed solutions.

Exceptional communicator able to engage with all levels of the Client Business, including key stakeholders and decision makers, to build relationships and proactively drive the direction of CLIENT' relationship with the Client.

An ability to identify and proactively resolve issues by gaining agreement from the key decision makers both Client and Delivery team so that the Program objectives are met.

Able to identify and communicate the impact of the proposed Solution in areas such change impacts, data migration, process redesign and training.

A willingness to keep up to date with current trends in the Domain and the development of key technologies in the area.

Qualifications:

Minimum of two end-to-end delivery projects implementing SAP FI/CO and related module integration e.g., SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP SD.

Hands-on experience in key SAP ECC, S/4 Finance and Controlling.

Ideally have S/4 Transformation Project experience either Greenfield or Brownfield.

Have experience of the SAP Activate Delivery methodology or any equivalent Agile delivery process.

Ideally have a CPA and Finance process background.

Years of experience required for position 15+ years
