FULL JOB DESCRIPTION SAP Security Expert/PM at Bayer. 8 years SAP experience 5 years SAP Security Expert at SAP Security who will manage SAP projects. Expert SAP Security, GRC, SAP Cloud applications Role : Will manage global SAP Security audit remediation efforts and oversee the provision of validation and system compliance services for IT solutions supporting GxP-regulated processes within global, local and cross-divisional functions, in accordance with Bayer IT guidelines as well as compliance and quality regulations. - Review of SAP Security Service Objects i.e. GRC, ACDB, Password reset tool, Access Buddy, etc. - Establish and actively participate in planned, periodic reviews of the overall effectiveness of SAP systems, which includes taking any necessary corrective and preventive action to ensure system compliance. - Establish optimal governance structure and monitor adherence to compliance activities. - Designing "best SAP Security practices" that accurately and efficiently utilize the SAP functionality. - Provide guidance and hands-on support to governance & compliance groups, to adapt a compliant security process. - Implement Update SOD Risks definitions. - Governing production support for existing security roles. Establish optimal governance structure and monitor adherence to compliance activities. Provide technical expertise to ensure the success of complex SAP projects and business critical operations escalations. Researches and confirms design around robust security architectures for SAP projects. Researches security standards, security systems and authentication protocols. Responsible for designing security architecture and deploy security solutions to ensure proper control. Ensuring SAP landscapes are up to date with the latest application security patches. Establish future standards and processes in conjunction with other SAP platform groups. Update create SOPs and documentation for security related processes. Oversee activities performed by our Managed Service Provider. Why is this position open? Backfill for a team member who retired as well as additional workload as a result of recent audit findings. Location of this role (CC, North Campus, Chesterfield, etc)? CC, however, this is a global team that is predominantly working remotely. Team members located in St. Louis go into the CC office twice a month, but its not a requirement. Daily Responsibilities Work / follow-up on audit findings and other security topics, assist with daily support escalations Work with on a daily basis? Other SAP Security and Governance team members, Capgemini colleagues, auditors, IT QA Team dynamic/culture The ERP Governance Compliance team is a lean, high-performing global team focused on the stability and integrity of Bayers global ERP systems. Team members are spread across the globe, but stay connected daily via virtual calls, chats, email, etc. The team recognizes that no one is an expert in all areas, so collaboration and inclusiveness are critical to our success. Must haves? Strong SAP Security background / experience, project management skills, takes initiative / ownership and drives topics to completion Long term plan? Potential extension, depending on workload Maintenance/ new Development ? This is not a hands-on development position. It is more focused on management of small work efforts, including analysis, solutioning and oversight of managed service provider implementation / support to ensure system compliance. Soft skills? Strong communication and collaboration skills, self-starter, driven, flexible # of years experience 8 years of SAP Security experience would be ideal What education needed? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent job experience
