Role: SAP SCM Architect Duration:6+months Location:Austin(Onsite role) S/4HANA Solution Architect This position will be responsible for solution architecture of Supply-Chain Planning and Logistics processes leveraging strong expertise and experience of SAP S/4 SCM (Supply Chain Planning & execution, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management) modules. This position will work on projects to enable new functionalities as well as smooth execution of existing processes. This role demands expert techno-functional knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Supply-Chain Management solutions as well ability to lead projects, design scalable business solutions, and strong communication & collaboration across IT and Business teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering, perform fit-gap analysis, design, support development, functional unit testing, support user acceptance testing for SAP Supply-Chain processes including Supply Chain Planning & execution, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve them based on SAP best practice processes. Work with business users to understand their issues and new requirements, perform proof of concepts, prepare solution options, and present it to business users. Translate user requirements into functional design specifications. Work with cross-team members in SFDC, Integration, BI, and other non-SAP applications to design efficient and secure data exchange integrations. Work collaboratively with other SD, Finance, Procurement, and ABAP team members in building scalable solutions. Work on key initiatives pertaining to issues that are business process related & system related. Should be able to propose viable options and solutions available within S/4H to solve the issues. Should be able to perform fit to standard type of analysis between enhancements in ECC and S/4H Build and document process flows for existing and new business functionalities. Should be able to guide and provide information on latest innovations that are part of S/4H predominantly in the SCM space based on fit gap analysis Create and maintain requirement document, functional design document, configuration documents, source to target mapping, data models, process flow diagrams, test plans, test scenarios needed for enhancements and projects. Education & Experience 12+ years of Supply-Chain Management experience in SAP with at least 7 years of it in S/4 HANA implementations, migrations, and upgrades. Expert knowledge of system configuration and processes in SAP S/4 HANA SCM Modules - Supply Chain Planning & execution, Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), Transportation Management (TM). Strong knowledge and experience in Order-to-Bill processes. Strong knowledge of delta functionality between ECC and S4H Core Strong expertise in re-designing business process solutions to leverage S4H capabilities Strong knowledge of EWM on S/4 options like embedded EWM vs sidecar approach Strong knowledge of S/4H Stockroom management Strong knowledge of SCM, data structures, integration with Finance modules and functionalities. Strong knowledge of integration between SAP SD, MM, SCM, and FI modules. Certification in S/4 HANA will be a added advantage Experience with supporting different types of implementations including: enhancement/support projects, new development projects and third party package software Must have strong communication skills, facilitates meetings and work with cross functional teams
