Job Description
Typical Task Breakdown/Rhythm:
Create infrastructure, write and lead the engineering team in writing the manual and test automation
Own and develop testing tools and strategies
Lead and hold other engineers accountable for technical quality measurements
Build and maintain CI environment for mobile applications
Find and introduce new ways of code scrutiny such as cloud testing, dynamic and static code analysis
Incorporate our peripheral (point of sale) certification into a continuous integration environment
Define, measure and report on coverage metrics and test objectives
Set up and Support environments for testing
Chance for Flex Hours/Remote: ideally we want someone local and can return to office when office opens back up. If candidate is non local, then will need them to relocate to San Jose on their own expense when the office opens back up.

Years of Experience: 5-8 years of engineering experience with a solid knowledge of industry standard processes, protocols, tools, and
methodologies
Degrees or Certifications: Bachelor in Computer Science or related degree
Requirements:
Expert working knowledge in at least two of the following Mobile and Web automated testing tools: XCUI, Espresso, and KIF, Selenium,WebStorm
Experience in scripting languages, like JavaScript, Perl, Python or Ruby
Experience in Object Oriented Programming experience in Java, Kotlin and Swift/Objective-C,
Proficient in getting around Integrated Development environments (Eclipse, xCode, Android Studio)
Experience in version control concepts and tools for release management (e.g., Subversion, GIT, and Maven Repository
Experience in developing unit / Integration level white-box tests that exercise our middleware and frameworks at the API
level and web
Experience with development best practices including agile processes, testing methodologies (white-box, black-box, unit,
integration), continuous integration, Jenkins as well as mobile specific testing approaches and tools
Experience in leading the development of test automation framework
Team player, pragmatic, self-starter, process-driven and results oriented
Best vs. Average:
Experience in the payments industry would be a plus
Knowledge on EMV or Experience is testing EMV payment solutions would be a plus
