Monitors the NRT machines to ensure they are always replenished, monitors the coin room to ensure inventory of hopper bags ensures that there are prepared cassettes each morning for the drop, and reports any equipment issues to the Cage Shift Manager.

Position Responsibilities

  • Replenish NRT machines with cash and coins as needed using the back-office system to monitor the machines status.
  • Retrieves drop boxes and cassettes from storage area and appropriately stores all boxes.
  • Enters necessary information into computer.
  • Loads appropriate boxes into carts and pushes/pulls carts to designated areas on the casino floor.
  • Will replace paper rolls and ticket stock when necessary.
  • Accounts for all keys used to perform NRT machine maintenance and drops throughout their shift.
  • Pulls bill validator boxes accompanied by a security officer or above, ensuring each box is accounted for before and after the drop.
  • Completes all paperwork accurately and delivers it to the appropriate Department in a timely manner.
  • Effectively process Fills & Credits for each NRT machine.
  • Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of the machines.
  • Perform cash validations as needed to ensure correct currency is in each corresponding cassette.
  • Is available at all times to carry out escorts of cashiers and currency to and from: high limit areas
  • Performs emergency drops of bill validators
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
  • Must be prepared and able to handle, with composure and tact, the effective planning and execution of many concurrent projects and programs.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours with short notice.

Whats Required

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Ability to effectively read, write and speak in English.

Minimum of 6 months previous money handling experience
