The MMB SME Program Manager will work to support the MMB SME Growth Leader and wider Global SME Leadership team. This is an important role which will help to develop governance and structure within the team and accelerate the pace of MMBs SME strategy being driven to local execution.

Enthusiasm, drive, versatility and a growth mindset is important for this role; as is an ability to collaborate with stakeholders around the world (e.g. SME Region and country leaders, SME Function partners and commercial stakeholders from across Mercer, Marsh and Marsh McLennan).

We will rely on you to:

Work collaboratively with the SME Growth leader and SME Leadership team to embed structure and governance around strategic plans and milestones
Perform program management including monitoring progress against deadlines and milestones.
Work with SME region and function leaders to improve metrics/processes to measure the progress of MMBs overall SME journey and key initiatives.
Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the SME Growth Leader to facilitate efficient decision making.
Drive agendas, materials and follow-up tracking for SELT and SME Community meetings.
Act as a point of contact between SME Growth Leader and other stakeholders, providing oversight and guidance to projects of high importance.
Partner with SME Growth Leader to develop effective meeting materials and high impact leadership sessions
Connect the dots across different parts of MMB to ensure global, regional and local SME leaders are engaged and aligned.
Perform other duties as assigned which could include client/prospect/market facing activities


What you need to have:

Relevant experience with proven ability to work across multiple teams
University degree required (BA/BS)
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to create clarity in it
Self-motivated with ability to handle multiple priorities and meet demanding timelines
Professional demeanour with strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to develop coherent and concise key messages, supported by impactful presentation and communication materials
Experience working in a heavily matrixed, complex corporate environment, including building, strengthening, and influencing relationships with the parent and sister companies
Strategic analytical capabilities and strong business and financial acumen
