The Safety Services Consultant is responsible for directly providing
safety consultation services to clients. Additionally, they are responsible for overseeing the services being provided to the client by the insurance carriers Loss Control staff.


JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work along with client to identify potential or actual source of loss.
2. Consult with client on control of exposure(s) identified.
3. Using independent discretion and judgment assist the client with the development,implementation, and monitoring of controls over primary loss exposures.
4. Using independent discretion and judgment review of existing client safety programsand the development of new sample safety programs.
5. Assist clients with supervisory and employee safety training.
6. Coordinate/direct Loss Control Services being provided to clients through the Insurance
Carrier. Monitor the services being provided to assure they are geared towards clients' exposures and needs.
7. Upon request, coordinate the service being provided to clients by outside vendors.8. Keep abreast of changing laws, which impact our clients, and communicate thesechanges to clients and fellow Graham Company employees.
9. Pursue a program for personal and professional development.
10. Continually work to establish and strengthen existing relationships with insurancecarriers, underwriters, loss control, etc. This includes activities such as attending meetings with insurance company representatives, both in and out of office, entertaining insurance company representatives (lunch, sporting events, etc.).
11. Attend meetings relating to your position.
12. Perform other duties and projects assigned by The Graham Company managerialpersonnel.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Five (5) years of safety experience.
2. College degree and some professional designations preferred.
3. Maintain valid Drivers License or alternate efficient and effective means to visit clients.
4. Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment.
5. Above average knowledge of general safety practices. Technical expertise in certainindustry segment desirable.
6. Basic knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance Coverage is required.
7. The ability to communicate effectively with clients.
8. The ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
9. High level of organization ability.
10. High degree of self-discipline and motivation.
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
12. Mature, professional, well-adjusted and self-confident.
13. Professional demeanor.
14. Proficient in Graham standard computer applications.
15. Regular and predictable attendance in accordance with the limitations and reportingprocedures established by The Graham Company from time to time.
16. Employees are required to be fit-for-duty which includes not being under the influenceof drugs and/or alcohol. This includes any drugs that might impact an employees ability to safely perform their job.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
