Role Summary:

In this role, youll be tasked with performing essential duties as a part of both the Iontra research team and the product development team. Youll be responsible for implementing and consistently maintaining a disciplined and planned set of daily and ad-hoc processes and laboratory activities described below in order to advance our technologies and applications. This is a full-time onsite role located in our Denver, CO office in a fast-paced startup environment.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Develop environmental, health and safety procedures/plan for all areas of the company.
• Acts as companies Safety Officer.
• Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
• Ensure all OSHA and internal safety procedures are being followed throughout the company.
• Develops and executes monthly OSHA and internal safety inspections to company with regulations and standards.
• Ensure that safety data sheets (SDS) are accurate, maintained, and accessible in all areas.
• Maintain records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.

Requirements

Youll Need These Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field as required
• 5 years of related experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and quickly come up to speed on environmental regulations and policies relevant to Colorado
• Battery experience highly desirable
• NFPA70E certificate highly desirable

Salary Range: $78k - $102k (salary is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).
