Overview
The SailPoint IdentityIQ Principal Consultant (“IIQ Principal Consultant”) is responsible for providing specific subject matter expertise to Focal Point’s IAM project team and its various clients. With the ability to lead IDM implementations and a demonstrated understanding of SailPoint IIQ solutions and design, the IIQ Principal Consultant oversees client engagements and leads dynamic projects towards successful outcomes.
The IIQ Principal Consultant will coordinate and communicate with both internal and external resources to grow Focal Point’s business opportunities in the identity governance arena. They demonstrate to clients a wealth of industry knowledge and ways to leverage SailPoint IIQ solutions in creative, cost-effective strategies.
The IIQ Principal Consultant plays a critical role in making sure that Focal Point is meeting client needs and maintaining its professional relationships. They are accountable for the correctness, viability and estimates of architected solutions, including business value propositions and the proposal development. Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Provide identity governance subject matter expertise with internal team members and external partners (i.e. SailPoint).
- Provide User Provisioning & Access Certifications implementation expertise.
- Provide planning, development, organization, monitoring and service delivery solutions to a wide range of clients.
- Demonstrate a highly-honed ability to communicate both the value and design of strategic business solutions in a cost-effective manner, based upon the current IDM technologies and industry standards.
- Take a proactive, leadership role to directly identify, develop, and cultivate profitable business opportunities and establish client engagements.
- Interface with internal and external resources to develop proposals and work estimates.
Qualifications
Experience
The ideal candidate has a history of accountability, attention to detail, effective communication, and excellent organizational and program/project management skills. They have a successful track record in managing risks, dependencies, issues, questions and decisions that impact projects and client relations. They are self-motivated and enthusiastic with a keen interest in understanding and managing business risks.
Further, the ideal candidate has a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of both client business needs and IDM trends, proving their ability to work under pressure, meet challenging deadlines, and independently manage issues as they arise Because this position is rooted in expedient communication between professionals with various specialties and levels of experience, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- 3+ years with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) 6.x & 7.x, including Life Cycle Manager (LCM) and Compliance Manager (CM)
- 3+ years in one or more of the following identity governance areas: User Provisioning, Access Certifications, Access Request, Workflow, Delegated Administration, and Password Self-Service
- 2+ years of Java development
- Development exposure in one or more of these technical areas: Unix/Linux, Web/TCPIP networking, Windows Server
- Ability to identify strategic improvements and delivering measurable business value in a planned manner.
- Working knowledge of other IAM products, including OIM, CyberArk, ForgeRock, CA, etc.
Educational/Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
Travel Requirements
50% of this position includes travel.
