We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to help us acquire and retain new business, new retail programs, and expand our digital opportunities, as well as manage and own key aspects of business plans for our clients. You will work closely with the Sales team, Retail team, and our media partners to execute strategies focusing on digital media.

You will be the go-to person between the Connections teams and our programs to ensure the campaigns are executed effectively, efficiently, and on time. You will work with the Sales Director to develop and implement regular business plans for our clients and programs, and will ideally come with roughly 2-3 years sales experience in media/marketing.

What you'll be doing:

  • 30% developing annual, quarterly, and monthly strategic and tactical business plans for Connections' advertisers and programs. This includes being a cross-functional team member between the Sales and Retail team.
  • 30% managing the execution of digital elements of advertising campaigns, including email blasts, social posts, Connections social media content, and Connections dedicated email sends. You will be the main point of contact for all digital campaigns. This will include data and analytics posts. Retrieving Read Only Access for Google Analytics for clients that agree to giving Connections access for post campaign analysis.
  • 20% actively searching for programs that would be a good fit for Connections on both the advertising and retail side of the business.
  • 20% Develop and maintain strong relationships with program managers and clients. The goals of these relationships are to establish unique sales-driving opportunities to Connections, direct and manage incremental spend marketing projects, and provide value opportunities for our programs. Provide opportunities of new digital products coming to market that align with our business goals.

Salary: $50-60k depending on experience

Location: Hybrid, 1-2 times per week in our office in Truist Park, Atlanta.


Requirements

What youll bring to the role:

  • Understanding of the digital marketing landscape
  • Retail, Ecommerce, or CPG marketing experience preferred
  • Approximately 2-3 years sales experience, ideally in media/marketing
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing cross-functional work relationships
  • Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills
  • Highly organized - with ability to combine strategic direction with hands-on tactical Knowledge of consumer and product research, market segmentation and competitive intelligence/analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and build integrated business plans
  • Independence and proactivity are a must.
  • Able to work well with in a small team environment
