POSITION SUMMARY

This is pivotal in elevating our training and certification process. We are looking for a highly qualified training professional to run our Channel Training and Certification Program. This position has high visibility and significant partner impact. This individual in this role should be comfortable speaking in public settings of all sizes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the computing industry with an understanding of SaaS offerings. You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new skills. In addition, you will help identify areas of existing architectural collateral that are incorrect or need updating to ensure customers can implement Vasions world-class solutions.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and deliver a high caliber Sales and Technical Certification training program to the employees of our partner companies, using our Learning Management System (Workramp Academies) as well as training delivered live via zoom or in person. In-person training will take place either at a Vasion location, or in the offices of our partner companies around the United States.
  • Enable key stakeholders within the partner community to further educate their coworkers on our solutions portfolio and value proposition.
  • Organize and oversee internal training for Vasion employees; to include new-hire onboarding training, departmental training paths, and ongoing education for existing employees.
  • Continually stay up to date on new product features and develop training materials appropriate to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Become the authoritative source of truth and subject matter expert for all training in the company.
  • Oversee the Learning Management System to ensure its used efficiently and effectively by internal stakeholders.
  • Educate internal sales employees and partners of all sizes on the value proposition of PrinterLogic and Vasion and how these products will help their businesses grow
  • Develop and maintain technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials for internal and external trainees.
  • Monitor learning outcomes to determine program effectiveness and incorporate feedback into future training curricula.
  • Manage certification database to ensure certified individuals are notified of upcoming expirations and re-certification requirements.
  • Report on certification status of given partners to Channel and Partner stakeholders.
  • Build a strong foundation of knowledge around driver management, print management, end-to-end workflows, and cloud services
  • Be an industry leader; collaborate with experienced solutions architects, instructional trainers, and consultants to craft best-practices

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • The desire to take extreme ownership of the above roles and responsibilities
  • Bachelors degree in technical education or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical trainer
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Office Suite / Google Office applications and video editing software.
  • Must be able to legally live and work in the US without visa support or sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of your time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with solution-selling methodologies
  • Experience architecting/operating training material
  • Experience with design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed systems
  • Experience conducting classroom training or leading discussions with groups of individuals (from executives to technology practitioners)
  • Certified Technical Trainer - CPTM, ATD CPLP, or equivalent
  • Electronic, Computer, or Networking Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, or Computer Science degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, learn quickly; and think abstractly
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both large and small audiences
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, especially Workramp and Workramp Academies
  • Familiarity with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • A working understanding of computing and networking systems. (Operating systems, IP networking, security fundamentals, Identity providers, etc.)
  • Experience in print management and workflow automation a big plus
  • A graduate degree in technical education is a plus

  • Experience developing an overall training and development plan, including certification tracks for both internal users and external partners
  • Experience customizing individual training and development plans
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of training methodologies
