We are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Growth Team at HeadLight! The ideal candidate brings energy, attention to detail, and is motivated by the opportunities for ownership and collaboration in a startup environment. You will work closely with our customer-facing teams to achieve our growth goals.

HeadLight, founded in 2005, delivers industry-leading technology to transportation construction teams. Our photo-driven inspection and verification technology enables clients to streamline and mobilize project inspections, communications, and documentation leading to superior project deliveries. The HeadLight platform has been used on transportation construction projects nationwide. Customers include large departments of transportation, top-tier consulting engineering firms, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and industry-related materials companies.

Requirements

As a Sales Operations Analyst at HeadLight, you will work closely with the rest of the Growth and Marketing teams to generate, execute, report on, and improve more efficient sales processes. You will delve into diverse datasets from a wide variety of sales and marketing tools and systems, including Salesforce and HeadLights own customer and product information. This role is a great opportunity to join a small, agile team and get exposure to a wide variety of business processes, tools, and roles.

What youll be doing:

  • Collate market and prospecting data from across HeadLights business systems
  • Build, automate, and maintain processes to deliver high-quality data on current and future customers to HeadLights Growth team.
  • Guide allocation of sales support resource and budget
  • Collaborate with Growth and Marketing team and leadership on sales playbooks and other sales process documentation
  • Build Salesforce reports/dashboards to track progress on Growth team initiatives
  • Learn the nuances of the rapidly growing infrastructure construction industry
  • Facilitate execution of email comms in support of Marketing campaigns and prospecting efforts
  • Process Marketing event leads in support of sales engagement

Youll be an excellent match if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, STEM, or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of data collection, organization, and analysis: what matters, how do I get it, how do I make it useful?
  • Proficiency with data tracking and manipulation tools, e.g. Excel, R, SQL, and/or other database-adjacent systems
  • Experience facilitating email campaigns via Pardot, Knack & Salesforce
  • Ability to create & maintain stakeholder reports with up-to-date data
  • Curiosity for both the how and why of information collection, storage, and sharing
  • An active interest in how Marketing and Sales function together to drive revenue growth
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team, depending on the project
