You will work closely with the Sr. Sales Manager to learn Polytech Fibers core business, including but not limited to our products and customer accounts. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent developing new customers. These activities will include researching potential customers and generating marketing strategies and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of customer service
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Learn about PET polymers, PET staple fiber, and the general textile industry to better communicate trends and needs with customers
• Research and develop potential leads for new customers through ongoing PET staple fiber market research
• Assist in researching and identifying prospects that could benefit from our products
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and follow up accordingly
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with team members and other departments
• Develop and maintain the companys website content and social media accounts
• Lead development and marketing of proprietary products for the company
• Suggest marketing materials and ideas to help sales efforts
• Keep abreast of best practices and industry trends, including freight trends and how freight costs affect our product costs
• Supply the Sales Team with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products
• Continuously improve through feedback
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent (Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptionally driven with a strong work ethic
• Strong research skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media Account Management
• Familiarity with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) preferred
• Friendly and personable with others
• Ability to meet goals, stay organized, and maintain a positive attitude
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
