Scope

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to join the Spiegelworld team in Atlantic City. This position is responsible for connecting audiences with the many exhilarating experiences created by Spiegelworld, including The Hook live show and Superfrico restaurant to create amazing moments for our guests across entertainment and hospitality. This position will actualize event sales and marketing plans created with internal teams and agencies to ensure marketing, sales and communications efforts are effective across all channels. We seek an organized and get-it-done individual with exceptional collaboration skills to work directly with resort, ticketing, operations, sales and advertising partners. This position will be responsible for focusing on regional property marketing support, venue and group bookings, group / VIP ticket sales and activation. The Sales & Marketing Manager will work closely across teams to develop and deliver the best possible experience for our Atlantic City guests. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with and selling large corporate events of 15 or more guests visiting Atlantic City. Serve as primary point of contact
  • Creating and executing one-of-a-kind events including venue buy-out, group and VIP show, food and beverage , and cross-venue experiences. Keeping corporate groups within the Spiegelworld ecosystem and coming back for more.
  • Participating in the corporate event and hospitality community this may include outreach and communications with on-site resort team, Visit AC, Meeting and Event Planners and their associations.
  • Improving the process of planning and fulfilling event execution, defining a strategy with leadership that works well for each venue, maximizing opportunity everywhere.
  • Managing inbound leads but mostly outbound marketing through continuous relationships and networking. Upselling at every opportunity.
  • Working with venue staff and being at any relevant events to ensure seamless experience with smooth service to VIP guests.
  • Completing all post event wrap up and maintaining relationships with groups.
  • Developing and executing marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinating with Spiegelworld Marketing to maintain current marketing content and brand integrity.
  • Partnering with on property resort team to maintain relationships, communication and on site marketing, promotional and programmatic management.
  • Collaborating with on site management for show, restaurant and bar program, experiences, events and marketing needs.
  • Aiding in maintaining social content calendars, customer online reputation and listings updates.
  • Organizing and participating in on-site marketing events and activation support, coordinate logistics, and onsite set up.
  • Writing and maintaining on-brand sales & marketing documents, materials and procedures.
  • Pitching and presenting information in one-on-one and group situations to media, customers, clients, partners and other employees of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in sales of large scale corporate group events.
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Marketing or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize whats most important and urgent.
  • Proven experience in managing revenue, driving sales, exceeding targets, and delivering the unexpected.
  • Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas
  • An ability to navigate and problem-solve in an always changing, always-on, creative world.
  • Strong analytic skills including the ability to synthesize data and provide insights into expanding the large group market.
  • Strong scheduling and organizational awareness with the ability to market Spiegelworld to new and existing clients.
  • Effectively assist with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, tact, friendliness, poise and firmness.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to SPW uniform and appearance guidelines.
  • Willing to participate in employer-paid COVID-19 testing and screening program.
  • Must have valid work authorization for the US.
  • Experience with CRM platforms
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Following a conditional offer of employment, able to show proof of being fully vaccinated, able to get vaccinated within the first 60 days of employment, or have a qualifying medical or religious exception.
  • Willing to participate in employer-paid COVID-19 Mitigation protocols which include weekly testing and onsite screening.
  • Must have valid work authorization for the US.
  • At least 21 years of age.
