Education requirement: MS in Computer Science, or BS in Computer Science and 4 years applicable experience
Years of Experience: At least 4 years

As a technical resource on a key enterprise platform development team, the Salesforce Developer will deliver high-value Salesforce solutions to enable significant business capabilities.

Responsibilities
Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals
Design, code and test Salesforce custom solutions comprising of work in Apex, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, Lightning, and data migration.
Provide estimates of work effort for new projects and enhancements
Analyze and mitigate issues identified during testing
Contribute to solution design sessions and code reviews, and recommend alternate approaches to optimize the solution
Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support
Be an advocate for Salesforce best practices, and follow best practices in all development efforts
Communicate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, third party vendors, clients and other developers to ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
Contribute to a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully
Assist the Support Team with escalated issues arising from support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow
Take accountability for quality of deliverables, provide status on development effort, and deliver on time and as per specifications

Technical Skills
Proficient with Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, Java, and JavaScript
Proficient with Object Oriented Programming methodology and Salesforce best practices
Experience with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Partner Communities, and Service Cloud preferred
Previous experience with JIRA, DX and TFS a plus
