We are seeking an experienced Seamstress to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to specifications
Use various sewing techniques, including stitching, hemming, and seaming, to produce high-quality results.
Collaborate with clients and team members to understand their preferences and requirements for garment alterations.
Ensure accurate fitting and proper sizing of garments through careful measurement and adjustment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sewing machines, tools, and materials.

Requirements:

Experience as a Seamstress, with expertise in women's gowns, women's wear, boning, tailoring, suiting, and fabric expertise.
Be able to create garments from scratch
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must work well with others.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
We offer hybrid work experience - WFH and in person
Must be based in New York and available to start immediately.
Payment for this position is per project.
