We have an exciting seasonal job opportunity for a SEASONAL PARKS LABORER I in HORTICULTURE to join our Parks team. This is a great position for anyone who has a knack for working with plants and enjoys working outdoors!
WHAT YOULL DO: Responsibilities include plant propagation and show preparation of our beautiful Conservatory. You will also provide maintenance to the greenhouse, formal gardens, and natural areas. Maintenance tasks include planting, trimming, mowing, aerating, fertilizing, weeding, mulching, and watering.
WHAT YOULL BRING:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend 95% of work time performing physical labor, standing, and/or walking.
WHEN YOULL WORK:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 am 3:00 pm (40 hours/week). This is a short term opportunity available from April to November.
