Our company is seeking a talented Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join our growing cybersecurity team. The primary focus of this role will be on securing the organization's network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices. The Network Security Specialist will work closely with our Network Team to ensure that the network is properly configured and secured. The Network Security Specialist will also work with external security tools such as Cloudflare & Cisco Umbrella to ensure that the organization's network perimeter is securely positioned. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about network security and has a strong background in securing, monitoring, and auditing network infrastructure. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage network security device policies such as firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices
• Monitor the network for potential threats and respond to security incidents in real-time Conduct regular audits of network equipment, ACLs, and other security controls to ensure they are properly configured and up-to-date
• Work with the Network Team to ensure that network security is integrated into all projects and implementation
• Work with external security tools such as Cloudflare & Cisco Umbrella to ensure that the organization's network perimeter is secured and monitored
• Work closely with network team and external partner to review and approve firewall changes and IPS related functions
• Partner with 3rd party audit firms to conduct pentests and associated remediations
• Create and/or modify security and network diagrams
• Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures
• Conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
• Stay up-to-date on the latest network security trends and threats and recommend improvements to existing security measures
• Collaborate with other members of the IT team to develop and implement effective security solutions
• Participate and drive cyber security awareness program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field 3+ years of experience in network security
• Strong understanding of network security protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, and SSL/TLS
• Experience with network security devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices
• Familiarity with external security tools such as Cloudflare, DNS, WAF's, and other related technologies
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as PCI, NIST, ISO, SOC 2, and HIPAA
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to think critically and creatively to identify new attack vectors and recommend solutions
• Strong desire to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and threats in network security
• Adherence to a strict code of ethics and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
