AOC Program Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background working in or with the military. Responsibilities: - Provide support in managing and maintaining security programs and procedures, ensuring compliance with DOD regulations, policies, and directives.
- Assist in the implementation and administration of security measures, including physical security, personnel security, information security, and access control.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate security clearances, access requests, and visit certifications in accordance with SCIF and SAP requirements.
- Maintain security records, databases, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and training sessions to promote awareness and adherence to security policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on security incidents, violations, or breaches, and assist in the investigation and resolution of security-related issues.
- Collaborate with facility management and IT personnel to ensure the proper implementation and maintenance of security systems, such as alarms, access control systems, and surveillance cameras.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security plans, emergency response procedures, and contingency plans.
- Stay updated with evolving security regulations, guidelines, and best practices, and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance security operations.
- Occasional travel to project sites and collaboration with government agencies and contractors.
Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience working in or with the military.
- At least 3 years of experience in DOD security programs, with a focus on SCIF and SAP access/requirements.
- Thorough understanding of DOD security regulations, policies, and directives.
- Knowledge of SCIF construction, accreditation, and management processes.
- Familiarity with SAP access control processes, including indoctrination, debriefing, and associated paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and classified information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.
- SAP eligibility is necessary.
