Senior Advisor Network Security

They are responsible for the planning and design of security technology architectures and focus on the implementation of technologies to protect Dell.

What you ll achieve
As a Cybersecurity Engineering Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for issue resolution on cybersecurity problems that may be diverse and highly complex, with emphasis on security operations, as well as select methods and techniques for identifying and advocating effective security solutions.
You will:

Supervise maintenance of packet capture applications and environment while working across the various global IT teams and business units and coordinates resources to effectively perform maintenance and response tasks.

Takes responsibility for successful execution of upgrades, enhancements and requests and presents incident response report and lessons learned to management.

Identify and recommend process improvements while providing security control enhancement recommendations based on regulatory and best practice procedures. Communicate and build effective relationships with people at all levels and attend internal and vendor training as and when required.

Responsible to manage and drive to closure all Audit issues to the Incident Response and Management process. Communicates and educate information security risks to end-users and document and communicate findings.

Design and coordinate cohesive plans to enhance and upgrade the suitability of the network security environment. Reviews, analyses, and resolves difficult and complex information security problems. Develops new approaches and techniques for use by others.

Essential Requirements

8+ years of professional experience in a Cybersecurity engineering role.

Experience with logging technologies and Netwitness, Firemon/Solarwinds & Palo Alto Firewalls.

Experience with security processes, documentation, network security & packet capture.

Good understanding of networking fundamentals e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SSL(link removed)>
Desirable Requirements

Industry certifications relevant to the role from vendor such as SPLUNK, RSA, CISCO, PALO ALTO.

Knowledge of Unix platform is added advantage.
