Job summary
1. Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize advanced Excel functions and Power BI to extract, analyze, and present data from multiple sources. Design interactive dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights into business performance and key metrics.
2. Report Development: Create and maintain standardized reporting templates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and relevance. Continuously improve the reporting process to enhance data visualization and simplify complex information.
3. Data Integration: Work with the IT team to ensure seamless data integration from various systems and databases into Excel and Power BI. Troubleshoot data-related issues and perform data cleansing activities as needed.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers, to gather reporting requirements, understand business needs, and deliver actionable insights.
5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly, identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
6. Data Accuracy and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports and visualizations.
7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and end-users on Excel and Power BI functionality, best practices, and report interpretation.
8. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in reporting tools and techniques. Proactively suggest and implement improvements to reporting processes.
