Looking for an experienced Senior Azure Engineer with a strong background in disaster recovery and multi-region serverless application setup. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD, and NodeJS. Familiarity with California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is desirable but not required.
Responsibilities:
Every day, these are the things that the person in this role will do successfully:
Design, implement and maintain highly scalable and available MS Azure serverless systems.
Ensure that all Azure systems meet disaster recovery requirements and are resilient to failure.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for serverless applications.
Work with development teams to ensure best practices are followed for security and compliance.
Facilitate cloud infrastructure discussions with the team and with our clients.
Support the team's backend development.
Designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and self-healing systems on the MS Azure platform
Designing, managing, and maintaining tools to automate operational processes
Requirements
These are the characteristics that we look for in people who can effectively fill the role:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field
7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1-2 years of Agile experience
5+ years of experience as an Azure Engineer or similar role.
Desired Certifications: Azure Developer Associate and DevOps Engineer Expert and Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD, and NodeJS.
Experience designing and implementing highly available and resilient Azure serverless systems.
Strong understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity best practices.
Knowledge of California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is desirable but not required.
Experience in both Confluence / JIRA or equivalent tool for software development
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build high-performing teams delivering significant business value
