JOB TITLE: Senior Back-End Quality Assurance Analyst (Multiple Positions Available)

JOB DUTIES: The SPHERE Institute has multiple positions available for Senior Back-End Quality Assurance Analyst in Burlingame, CA. Work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to develop metrics and methods for maximizing test coverage. Create project schedules and resource allocation models for QA related tasks. Review various technical specifications, test plans, and project life-cycles. Define QA testing best practices and identify new testing strategies. Develop automation standards and frameworks for test processes based on best practices. Identify and report general website bugs in addition to functionality and usability issues found in web applications and internal software tools. Validate fixes and maintain clear and appropriate issue-tracking documentation including running regression, performance, and stress testing. Participate in the design and maintenance of internal reporting process documentation by contacting developers, Business Analysts, and customers to clarify the intent of a new feature. Participate in the design of new test plans and test cases to verify specifications by defining testing scope and testing conditions to establish the expected functionality of a feature. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT and security personnel to troubleshoot defects on existing applications. Comply with company policies and with applicable laws and regulations to ensure software complies with legal regulations. 100% Telecommuting permitted within the U.S. Salary Offered: $140,358/yr.
