Responsibilities:
Support to develop new sales channels to grow the Employee Health & Benefits business;
Support to determine the overall sales and segmentation strategy and opportunity pursuit plans to maximise sales effectiveness and leverage Mercers local and global resources;
Contribute to product development and contract negotiation;
Identify opportunities and develop them from start to closure, including coordination of Mercers tender/proposal process;
Contribute to creating compelling value propositions for the market and where necessary, for a specific client, drawing on all of the internal resources and ensuring the clients needs are understood and communicated back to the business;
Ensure that compliance in the use of Mercers client relationship management system to ensure accurate data for senior management to track and monitor sale performance;
Be proficient in and a champion of Mercer tools and processes, including MercerForce
Requirements:
3 or more years of relevant sales or account management experience with insurance industry
Good numerical accuracy
Strong communication skills when liaising with different category of potential clients/internal stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to the communication style dependent on the needs of the audience
Sales performance focused and a strong sense of personal accountability
Negotiation and influencing skills both internally and externally
Ability to work across the business in partnership with internal stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously to achieve set results
