Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Warsaw office:
Senior Business Transformation Project Manager

Our dynamic change and transformation team, part of the Operations and Technology department, is responsible for executing highly complex, large-scale, and multi-year international projects that drive key strategic initiatives for our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of transformative projects, including complex operational changes and target operating model design. Your expertise in project management and your ability to build strong business relationships will be crucial to your success.

What can you expect?

Engagement with key C-Suite Stakeholders to gain effective buy-in and ensure resources are available
To build and maintain effective relationships with senior business partners and third parties and help facilitate timely decision making and trade-offs
Work closely with teams within the programmes who are managing high visibility projects/workstreams, and regularly interface with internal senior management including digital and technology

We will count on you to:

Analyze business processes and develop solutions for business model improvements in collaboration with leaders and key stakeholders.
Support C-Suite business leaders and staff in scoping, defining, planning and executing of projects ensuring that all assumptions are validated and quantified
Ensure that all requirements are correctly translated into tangible outputs, outcomes and benefits
Develop detailed, robust, high-quality programme delivery roadmaps including: resources, outcomes, schedules, costs, assumptions, dependencies and business integration plans for large scale, complex strategic initiatives
Serve as the subject matter expert in delivery and change management, assisting the wider business in defining the right approaches and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose
Review, mentor, and coach Project Managers and other change professionals and support staff
Be accountable for overall programme delivery activity ensuring they follow defined standards and governance structures
Provide transparent, factual visibility and communication of progress and points of escalation to key stakeholders
Manage dependencies with other initiatives and negotiate resource requirements with Executive management when faced with conflicts in priorities


What you need to have:

Demonstrable experience in the field of business transformation and management of large and complex projects across large matrix-structured organizations, ideally across continents/regions
Experience of managing / coordinating implementation with teams across different locations, dispersed globally, including off-shoring/near-shoring teams
Well versed in managing business and technology solutions delivery lifecycles, using multiple disciplines and methodologies
Self-sufficient and highly motivated, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and operate in a global matrix environment
Change management credentials, e.g. leading people and clients change journey
Strong stakeholder management and communications skills with ability and gravitas to operate and influence at C-Suite level
Demonstrable experience in TOM and organisational change programmes


What makes you stand out:

Relevant programme management qualification
Experience in Employee Benefits / Pensions / Investments or HR Consulting business and solutions is highly desirable, but not essential
Understanding of how to work with different cultures globally to deliver programmes
