Senior C/C++ Application Developer on Unix/AIX/Linux

Berkley Heights, NJ --On-site

The Senior C++ on Unix Application Developer will be responsible for coding, testing, and analyzing application software dealing with front-end processing (authorizing and settlement) of high-volume, high-availability, financial and credit card processing transactions and ensuring Client's solution integrates with merchant software.

Requirements:

  • Support the North switch application including Level 3 support for production issues, compliance changes.
  • Develop code for the web applications using C++ on Unix platform.
  • Support existing business systems applications; consult with all levels of application, developers as well as Project Managers to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions.
  • Play a lead role in supporting the production support team with issues that require troubleshooting of existing code. Review code changes made by other developers on the team.
  • Project work for clients. (Walmart, PayPal, Home Depot, Microsoft, and Apple).

Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent direct coding work experience
  • 5+ years developing applications in C++ Applications on AIX
  • 3 years developing real-time processing applications running on AIX platform.
  • 3 years working with Jira and GIT

Additional Requirements: (Good to have)

  • Credit Card payment processing using Compass.
  • ISO 8583
  • Distributed applications monitoring
