Senior Capital Projects Engineer - $125-150k - Heavy Industrial Products Mfg (Primary Metals, Pulp & Paper, Glass, O&G, Chemicals type of companies) - Manage all aspects of scope development, cost estimates and scheduling. The successful candidate will have extensive interaction with equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, local/state/federal government, and co-manufacturers. Will be recognized as a Technical Leader and an expert in Project Management. Responsible for wide range of engineering tasks related to the successful completion of engineering projects. Engineering; design; justification; budget development; bid specification; procurement; installation; start-up/debugging; and employee training for all processing, manufacturing equipment and related systems for multiple plants. Scheduling, contractor selection, supervision, schedule execution, and budget management of multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to travel and manage projects at all locations (Travel is project based and requires ability to travel 40% to 50% at times to plants, vendors, etc).

BS Mechanical Engineering degree or related. 8-10 years of heavy industry manufacturing experience. Prefer Primary Metals, Pulp & Paper, Glass, O&G, Chemicals type of companies, will consider foods, plastics and other processing industries.  4+ years experience as the Engineering Project leader managing and coordinating medium to large capital projects ($10-40MM range) from concept to completion. Extensive experience in designing, and installation of manufacturing equipment and related systems. Formal project management training/certifications a plus. Must possess excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
