senior-level Civil Engineer for a full-time position to work on civil and transportation engineering projects throughout our service area.
Duties Include:
Preparation of designs, reports, plans, estimates and schedules for projects
Evaluation of needs for design changes and execution of appropriate actions
Coordination of technical efforts with the project team
Capability of being a roadway squad leader
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Experience with the development and implementation of roadway and traffic plans
Experience with transportation engineering design
Experience with engineering design software
PE Desirable but not required
Previous work with VDOT or DOT Preferred but not required.
