We will count on you to:
Reviews and understands incoming documentation and new claims notifications, informs all relevant parties of any potential problems or contentious claims, and seeks guidance or advice where necessary or refers to Claims Advocates to ensure the proper processing of claims. Identifies which policies or parts of the coverage that may be affected by incoming medium value claims from middle-market to large and/or medium complexity clients, seeks validation where necessary, and advice where uncertain or clarification required to ensure the proper protocol is followed Determines coverage for incoming claims of medium complexity, of medium size, and/or for medium sized clients through use of their knowledge of the policies as well as communicating with Underwriters Insurers to help their clients manage their incoming claims and ensure that claim management processes adhere to established standards. Reviews escalated issues pertaining to claims processing and claims complications, provides resolution, or defers to Claims Advocates for their technical expertise in order to ensure proper application of pertinent claims policy, actions and calculations of claims rates, and determines next steps. Liaises with clients for specific claim-related issues or client service concerns to resolve issues of moderate complexity. Communicates with clients, colleagues, third parties or insurers on an ad hoc basis to receive status updates, information requests, instructions, or query resolution; may also provide advice to clients on common claims topics Generates and supplements claims reports to ensure accurate records are produced and distributed. Facilitates collection from insurers on medium-sized claims and tracks the different parts of claims being paid for various claims settlements to keep orderly record of ongoing work. Other claims related tasks.
What you need to have:
Ideally 5 years plus previous claims experience necessary especially in non-motor loss adjusting Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with a high level of responsibility
