Athena is looking for a talented Senior Consultant who has a passion for solving problems, managing change, and improving efficiency. We work in a spirited, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment and were looking for someone who can hit the ground running and thrive in this setting.

Please note, this role is in Philadelphia, PA and requires 4 days onsite with 1 day remote.

Requirements

What you will be responsible for:

Executive Support:

  • Acting as a strategic partner to Leadership, managing calendars, emails, and communications, ensuring effective time management and prioritization of tasks.
  • Preparing and editing correspondence, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating meetings and events, ensuring seamless execution and attention to detail.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivating strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, serving as a trusted advisor, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Strategic Partnership:

  • Collaborating closely with Leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Facilitating communication flow between the Leadership and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless exchange of information.
  • Recommending applicable process/project optimization solutions.
  • Retrieving or researching necessary information in a proactive, resourceful way (e.g., user/client requirements and relevant case studies).

Operational Excellence:

  • Streamlining and optimizing operational processes within the assigned team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Developing and implementing performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track key initiatives and assess outcomes.
  • Attending meetings, tracking actionable items (e.g. assigned tasks and next steps), and leading the follow-through of all items with appropriate stakeholders ensuring timely completion and forward momentum.

Project Management:

  • Leading and overseeing high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and milestones.
  • Breaking projects into doable tasks, setting timeframes and goals, monitoring progress, and escalating risks.
  • Translating project scope or client requests into simple workflows or presentation materials, then maintaining documentation to reflect project evolution.
  • Building out project management trackers when needed to support projects and initiatives.
  • Act as gate keeper for key deliverables, making best use of senior executives time by ensuring all participants are fully prepared to present materials, deliverables, and strategies.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contributing to and when appropriate spearheading the development of long-term strategic plans, translating vision into actionable goals and initiatives.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Projects may require budget tracking and assistance forecasting future spend.

Skills and experience you should have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience supporting senior executives in a strategic, operational, or similar role, preferably in a large-scale corporate environment.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field, advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leadership and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to change.

  • Experience in the telecommunications or entertainment industry.
