The duties will include:
Perform audits of corporate functions to evaluate conformance with GAAP, laws, regulations and company policy.
Conduct reviews of organizational and functional activities, audits of third parties and investigations as assigned.
Document and evaluates the design and effectiveness of key SOX controls.
Plan and execute audits in accordance with IIA professional practices.
Utilizes Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, IDEA, and Wdesk
Reports audit findings and makes recommendations.
Maintain effective working relationships with executive and operating management.
Plan the approach and scope of audits to focus on high-risk areas.
Utilize computer-assisted audit techniques in audit procedures.
Determine alternative methods to test or review where appropriate.
Obtain, analyze, and appraise evidentiary data as a basis for an informed opinion.
Make, or assist in making, oral or written presentations to management.
Prepare detailed workpapers and audit reports in a timely manner.
Prepare formal written reports expressing opinions on the controls adequacy.
Appraise the adequacy of managements action plans.
Keep current on technical developments in Internal Audit.
Conduct Corporate Walkthroughs on behalf of the Companys External Auditor.
Provide risk and controls feedback to management regarding system implementations underway.
Help to educate management and key functional area contacts on risks, controls, and Corporate SOX testing.
Make value added recommendations to management.
Assist Department Director with ensuring management updates SOX controls.
2 years of experience in Internal Audit and a CPA License.
Bachelors degree in accounting
