Senior Customer Care Representative career opportunity with our manufacturing client in Overland Park, KS.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer care, social media marketing, and ecommerce retail sales experience. The compensation range is $24-$25 an hour.

The Senior Customer Service Representative reports directly to the Manager, Procurement Operations & Customer Care and is responsible for in-bound customer/consumer inquiries, order coordination, e-commerce activities including social media Customer show specials and trade show coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for customer system mapping, maintenance, and customer integration
  • Respond to questions regarding pricing, warranty and new account requests
  • process orders -- performs order entry, reviews orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data.
  • Inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
  • Issue customer invoicing through customer system portal for customers
  • Create customer labels.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3 5 years customer service relations, preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to convey product information and availability to customers.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Must demonstrate autonomy - ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision, in a timely manner
  • Detail oriented - ability to pay attention to minute details of a task ensuring accuracy of assignments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite
  • EDI (Customer Service System) experience preferred, but not required
  • E-commerce, including social media experience desired
  • Trade show coordination desired
