Position: Senior Data Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 18 Months

Description:

The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for working with our client's technical team on planning and designing new ways to innovate some of their healthcare projects. This will require working within a Data Warehousing environment and utilizing several different technologies to drive pilot projects and cloud incentives.

Duties:

  • Support development team members
  • Produce written deliverables for data requirement specifications and support documentation.
  • Produce and deliver formal process mapping documents, data dictionaries, and entity relational data model diagrams.
  • Provide a data validation test plan and conduct data validation test.
  • Develop performance metrics/data analysis.
  • Troubleshoot issues in reports related to data and compare data from multiple angles.
  • Convert data from various sources, including document management systems, records management systems and matter management systems.
  • Develop procedures, scripts, and utilities for conversion processes that transform the data to meet business requirements.
  • Conducts and facilitates meetings and presentations.
  • Investigate new tools and new technology.
  • Create accurate and timely documentation for specifications, design documents, test cases, and knowledge transfer.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in math, sciences, engineering, or computer science preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Cloud Architect, etc.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong planning and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention.

Preferred Technologies:

  • AWS Architecture
  • Cloud-Native Data Architecture
  • Cloud-based Data Lake/House (e.g. Snowflake, AWS S3, AWS Redshift, Databricks)
  • Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Natural Language Processing
  • Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Forecasting, Supervised Learning, EMR, Spark, HIVE
  • Data streaming, Kafka, AWS Kinesis, gPRC
