Location: Krakw, Lublin, Remote (Poland or any country in EU)
Tech stack:
This is a short-term project for a period of 6 months
Salary:
180 - 200 PLN/h on B2b contract
Responsibilities:
- Data Modelling
- Data cleaning
- Code quality improvement (there is a lot of legacy to deal with)
- Importing data from Mongodb
- ETL-ing is an important chunk of work
- Data management support of existing and a new projects
- Also, writing SQL queries ad-hoc support, based on needs
Requirements
- Hands-on experience within DATA Modeling
- Hands - on experience within DBT - (link removed)
- 5+ years of overall experience in the fields of data or software engineering, where you got to develop your advanced SQL skills
- solid, professional knowledge of Python
- Strong knowledge and experience of Data Modelling and Data Warehousing design (preferably with BigQuery)
- Experience in creating and improving data pipelines and in Cloud Computing (with GCP being a plus)
- Experience with tools like: Kubernetes, Airflow and NoSQL databases (MongoDB), dbt or Data Streaming
- You focus on quality and have strong analytical skills, as well as a hands-on mentality, which help you in finding simple solutions for complex problems
- You are business fluent in English
