Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist in Jersey City, NJ.

Duties:

Explore analytical approaches and develop analytic solutions using machine learning (using scikit learn, python, pandas, etc.) and deep learning techniques (using Tensorflow, Pytorch) including Predictive Modeling, Text Mining, Automated Speech Recognition, Information Retrieval, Named Entity Recognition, and Text Summarization. Deploy analytic solutions to cloud (AWS) and integrate with business products. Document all analytical approaches used including data analysis, observations, data preparation, feature engineering, model hyperparameter tuning, and comparison of different model performances. Ensure that analytic solutions meet specified technical requirements in a timely manner based on business needs.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field; plus 2 years of related experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field; plus any level of experience, knowledge, proficiency, and/or coursework. Requires any amount of experience in the following:
1. NLP models for classification, information retrieval, recommender systems, NER, text summarization
2. Deep learning libraries such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
3. Python
4. RDBMs and interactive SQL programming skills
5. Big Data technologies including Spark or Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
6. Git, JIRA, and basic software development best
