The DevOps Architecture Lead is a critical member of the Application Architecture and Development  team and will work across all levels of the organization. Reporting to the VP of Application Architecture, the role will support the design of the end to end Dev Ops platform (CI, CD, Monitoring and Feedback) and oversee the implementation of a cross functional DevOps team to deploy / manage Company’s latest platform. The DevOps platform will later be integrated into Company’s existing applications and platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create DevOps (CI/CD pipeline) Reference Architecture to deploy our latest application into a private and public cloud


• Use Industry expertise to research and prototype CI Tools for acquisition / purchase into both Company deployed or Cloud toolset implementation


• Use Industry expertise to research and prototype CD tools for acquisition / purchase  both Company deployed or Cloud toolset implementation


• Work with cross functional team to create build and deployment plan with milestones


• Lead implementation team with Dev, QA, Infrastructure and Operational staff to delivery working Private and Public DevOps pipeline


• Create and present DevOps status information to Peers, management and executive level on plans and progress


• Access Company Legacy applications for inclusion on CI/CD pipeline as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• 10 years of experience in Software Development


• 5 years of experience in operationally delivering software applications


• 5 years of experience in DevOps (CI/CD pipeline) implementations with at least 2 complete end to end successful deployments


• Technically leading DevOps implementation cross functional team


• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience


• Ability to work across the Development, Infrastructure and Operations Silos


• Accessing current Dev Ops State and recommendations to move forward in agreed to phases


• Hands on experience of Major DevOps tools


• Experience with Software Security (DevSecOps)


• Expert in Automation technologies and tool sets


• Expert in Automated testing and tool sets


• Expert in Automatically deploying applications to private and public clouds and monitoring results


• Expert in deploying applications in VM and container based infrastructures


• Experience Coding and Scripting skills (such as Ruby, Python, Java, Java script)


• Strong Communications and Collaboration


• Self Starter, who needs little direction and can present solutions to identified challenges


• Passion for delivering incremental and iterative Client Value
