Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer in Jersey City, NJ.

Duties:

Design, build, and support enterprise systems and platforms encompassing a broad array of technologies. Build secure, scalable, and highly available solutions that adhere to enterprise policies and industry standards & best practices. Provide design guidance and support to business partners to enable optimal usage of the technology. Proactively measure all environments for adherence to enterprise standards and best practices and assist with remediation & optimization. Develop and maintain scripts, automated processes, and documentation for repeatable design patterns, to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time. Provide escalation support to operations personnel. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for technical design, implementation, and problem resolution. Train and mentor team members as well as operational staff.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; plus 5 years of related experience. Requires 5 years of experience with all of the following: 1)Windows or Linux operating systems; 2) Enterprise infrastructure and security tools: Okta, Splunk, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Infoblox and Imperva; 3) Cloud computing services: AWS and Azure; 4) Networking concepts: OSI network layers and TCP/IP; 5) Database platforms: MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL; and 6) CI/CD tools and methodologies, system programming and scripting in Python and PowerShell.
