We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans and tailored lending. If you are an exceptional individual who is interested in solving complex problems and building sophisticated solutions in a dynamic team environment, GBT is the place for you.Position Description:As part of strategy to design and implement industry leading Credit and Underwriting Solutions, Morgan Stanley Global Banking Technology team is looking for UI/UX Developer to join a technologically advanced team, focusing on innovation and building out a next generation of Lending platforms. Candidate must have expertise in design and development of interactive web applications, following sound UI design principles. Candidate should be fluent in related technologies including JavaScript frameworks like Angular/React/Redux, web protocols and standards, and associated UI development tools. Candidate will interface on a regular basis with other teams including other internal IT teams across Wealth Management, BA team, QA team, and global development team. To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities, vendor capabilities, proprietary system builds, and the ability to adapt to changing business requirements.



Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

 *The candidate must have significant expertise in all facets of design and development of interactive web applications, UX technologies and apply sound UI design principles

 *The candidate will be required to design frameworks and components

 *Responsible for creating mockups and turn those mockups into working products

 *Working understanding of Agile development methodologies & understanding of DevOps Integration.

 *The candidate will be required to research, analyze and do performance benchmark testing.

 *Require to do debugging and have excellent troubleshooting skills.

 *The candidate will need to communicate effectively and demonstrate the usability of the designs from a user?s perspective and be able work with both users and lead IT team members in a highly collaborative team environment.



Skills Required:

 *At least 5-8 years of proven software development experience

 *Be passionate in UX technologies

 *Strong skills in (5-8 years):

o HTML , JavaScript, CSS (5+ years of experience)

o Angular and/or React (3+ years of experience)

o Redux (1+ years of experience)

o TypeScript (1+ years of experience)o UI/UX design patterns and best practices

o Associated JavaScript development tools

o Web Services (SOAP, REST), Web protocols and standards

 *Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills

 *Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)

 *Experience working with global development teams

Skills Desired:

 *Java

 *Web services

 *SQL /UNIX

 *Hands on experience with standard set of developments tools including IDEs, build frameworks, source code control, etc.
