Job TitleSenior Director SW CT/AMI Job Description The Senior Director, Software CT/AMI owns the end-to-end development of the global SW stack for our CT system, from crafting the architecture and product roadmap together with the platform and product teams executing the SW development, maintaining the SW over the complete life-cycle of the systems. The Senior CT SW will be owning the organization of multiple R&D groups in our Bangalore, Haifa (Israel) and Shenyang (China) development sites and drives leadership and competence development, process improvement and achievement of quality and development KPIs for the CT SW. The role requires influencing the SW practices of the Image Chain organization across the whole product lifecycle. Starting from a clear north-star of how good SW development practices and agile team leadership look like, the Senior Director CT SW will work with the other members of the global CT R&D Management Team to ensure that the work practices and competence in their teams support the Philips vision. We are looking for a groundbreaking leader that will unite the currently separately run SW teams under their global leadership, lift the team performance to the next level, fosters innovation, embraces the Philips cloud and SaaS strategy and that builds strong leadership behaviours and competences in the team.
Your Role:
Part of the global R&D Management Team of CT/AMI
Creating a north-star vision and technology roadmap for global CT SW development
Operationalizing the vision into a development program for the SW teams and needs towards platform organizations (IAP, HSDP, CAO, Research) and other businesses
Leading a development organization in Bangalore, Haifa (Israel) and Shenyang (China)
Responsible for achieving the product quality and development KPIs for CT SW
Working in close relation with Q&R to ensure compliance to FDA design controls, EU MDR and NMPA requirements
Understand external factors including Regulatory, Customers, Competition, and Industry trends
Drives functional excellence including Professionalism in domain expertise, building up strong, innovative teams, world-class efficiency, promote domain knowledge, system thinking, and customer understanding
Exemplifies global thinking including: Promoting willingness to learning things and demonstrate others capabilities, Sharing capabilities across global locations, building an environment of trust
You're the right fit if:
Masters degree in SW Engineering or related subject area.
Deep knowledge and experience in SW engineering, design controls and designing for quality and reliability.
Experience and knowledge of cloud technologies and patterns to transform from a traditional business to a SaaS model
10+ years of experience working as an Engineer.
6+ years of experience as an R&D group leader or equivalent.
Experience with Lean
Experience in a regulated environment such as medical device development
Experience with organisational change
Experience with imaging systems is a plus, but not a must
Experience with agile development a plus
Experience with working in a global organization across multiple locations
Strong influencing and communication skills
Can work with all levels of people internally and externally
Business proficiency in English
