We are seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to join our team. As the Senior Director of Software Engineering of our organization, you will have the opportunity to create, lead and grow a team of developers. Your focus will be driving the technical direction, development, and strategy of our company's software marketplace. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a startup environment, with large-scale software development and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, lead, and grow a team of developers.
• Set technical direction and strategy for the company's software development initiatives.
• Build processes to help create scalable and maintainable applications.
• Ensure delivery timelines are met on time and within budget.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach to projects.
• Maintain the company's high-quality standards for software development practices.
• Mentor and grow team members to help them meet career goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition experience
• Experience in working for a startup, with a demonstrated history of success in scaling fast
• Extensive experience with large-scale software development projects.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Masters degree in computer science or related field.
